Climate of Mallorca
More than 300 days of sunshine can be enjoyed in the biggest island of the Balearics. In the moderately Mediterranean climate, winters are mild and seldom colder than 10 degrees Celsius. During springtime, temperatures between 15 - 20 degrees allow the blossoming of the countless almond trees on the island. This is the perfect timing to benefit from charming walks and bicycle tours to admire the awakening of Mallorca’s wildlife. In May, summer temperatures of approximately 30 degrees and above can be already experienced in Mallorca – the perfect season to work on the desired tan and practice your favourite water sport. Light breezes cool down the hot summer days. In autumn, the water temperatures are still suitable for swimming as the Mediterranean Sea cools down slowly.
